Buy a code, get it by email plus a printable gift card, give it to a parent. The 12 months start from first use, not from purchase day. No auto-renew, no further charges to the giver. Buyers are always parents or adults. A child never enters card details.

Proposed, not in this prototype. The catalogue is too small for a 3-pack or 10-pack yet, and monthly needs recurring billing. They stay as proposals until the catalogue and the payment server are ready.

Payment, when checkout opens for real: Stripe first (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, no account needed to buy), PayPal second, e-transfer by hand as a backup for Canadian buyers.

Anyone reading the page code can forge a prototype code — that is why the real version needs a server. Do not use prototype codes for real sales.
